AFRICAVENIR is an association initially created in Porto-Novo in Benin in July 2007 by Megan Stanislas AFAN with some of his friends. The association received the legal authorization receipt from the Prefecture of Porto-Novo on October 11, 2007 under the n ° 2007/096 / SG / STCCD of September 27, 2007 and published in the Official Journal of the Republic of Benin n ° 04 of February 15, 2008.
In Togo, the association obtained the receipt from the Ministry of Territorial Administration, Decentralization and Local Communities on March 06, 2019 under number 0193 / MATDCL-SG-DELPAP-DOCA. It is registered in the Official Journal of the Togolese Republic N ° 6 bis of March 16, 2019.
In 2014-2015, the association in Togo was restructured, revitalized and new orientations were defined with in particular the development of a five-year strategic plan 2016-2020 which includes around twenty projects with a human resources mobilization plan, technical, material and financial.
This plan is developed around 3 main programs based on the development of several sectors and at the level of different sectors namely: Agriculture and Environmental Management Program (PAGE), Health Program (PS) and the Program Education and Promotion of Information and Communication Technologies (PEPTIC).
Each of these programs is subdivided into components which are broken down into projects, structured around a series of budgeted actions with the planned donors. The plan also takes into account certain cross-cutting areas such as the strengthening of the association’s institutional capacities, communication and integrates the gender and social dimensions to ensure the sustainability of the achievements.
